Publisher BL Davis only had good words to say about her evening at Table Restaurant & Bar in Charlotte.
Accompanying BL for Sunday Evening was a good friend Lois Hill, PR Professional. BL was dressed in Jones of New York "little black dress" ensemble, 'Net Hosiery', and open toed, opal stone designed (2inch heeled) sandals by A Marinelli.

"The fashion show was great. It was a great crowd, several media persons were there, other area professionals were in attendance, everything was just great. I will be back to treat myself to more entrees, dessert and more."
said BL Davis. "The decor of Table is simply breathtaking!"

IMAJ SALON AND SPA VIP RECEPTION November 30, 2006, A Night To Remember....

OnPointt Online Magazine attended the Imaj Salon And Spa VIP Reception. It was a Red Carpet Affair! The Grand Opening took place Thursday Evening at 8pm est. Concord, NC. The host for the evening was Deya Smith, former Miss Black USA, social commentator, motivational speaker and writer. The event for the evening was produced by Ms. Tonya Inabinett, Talk of the Town Marketing & Public Relations, LLC. This grand event was Invitation-Only. Invites were: Salon owners
(Two are Mike Minter/Fantasia Barrino), salon staff, community leaders, business executives, members of the Carolina Panthers organization (Minter is a Panther), Speedway Club members and selected media. Accompanying me for the evening was my good friend and Publicist Lois Hill.

The salon has an impressive 3600-square footage. The decor is very contemporary meets classic, color scheme great (Hues selected tastefully) and the location is across from Concord Mills Outlet Mall
(great location). The salon will house 15 chairs for hairstylists, three themed spa roms, a make-up gallery, and make up spa room. OnPointt Online Magazine spoke with some of the stylist and they were very knowledgeable about haircare, skincare. Staff Professionals were very detailed about the services they provide. The SP's were very thorough about their Professional Background when asked.

The evening started off great! There was a ribbon cutting ceremony. Concord's Mayor J. Scott Padget cut the ribbon along with Mike Minter. From there, invited guest were welcomed into the salon for a tour. While surveying each room, talking with staff, mingling with each other, invited guest were served champange by fluted glass, shrimp on ice (cocktail sauce on ice as well), and other appetizers. Models were in most rooms dressed in various outfits (all out glam to sport), giving the crowd flavor!
Models struck different poses throughout the night. View some of the pictures from OnPointt Online Magazine. After a word from Mike Minter and Co-Owners thanking everyone for coming out, invited guest were directed to the entertainment for the evening.

Live entertainment was provided by Charlotte's 'Uncommon Jazz'. They were fantastic. Invited guest mingled with each other, chatted with salon staff and waited for the arrival of Fantasia Barrino. Here are some words from our Publisher BL Davis:

"I saw so many people I have met through the years at the VIP recepetion. It really was an amazing time and it is really a good look for the Charlotte/Concord Communities. These owners could have located their Spa/Salon in another state, but they chose this location. That speaks volumes. I spoke with Mike Minter and Fantasia Barrino (I am a big fan) and wished them well on their business venture.
I also spoke to the lady of the hour who put this together, Tonya Inabinett. It was a pleasure.

Fantasia Barrino arrived while the entertainment part of the evening had gotten under way. Barrino was very gracious to all admirers. She signed autographs, and she gave the crowd an unrehearsed performance with the amazing band UNCOMMON JAZZ! That was simply FANTASTIC! Fans know how Fantasia puts it down! She reeled us in slowly with the band staying ON POINT with her. Then Fantasia took us to the peak where the crowd joined in with Fantasia as she jammed saying "Rock wit and lean wit it!" We did just that! We jammed! Publisher BL got noticed trying and we mean trying to sing
"What are you doing for the rest of my life." One of Fantasia's favorite songs. Fantasia stopped for a moment to sing a lil bit with BL, and the rest you see by pictures...HERstory.
