Cherica Adams was gunned down November 16, 1999 in Charlotte NC at age 24.
Inside of her BMW sedan Adams was wounded and months pregnant with child.
With gunshots wounds to the neck and abdomen, Cherica Adams told police officers that her boyfriend shot her. The 'boyfriend ' and father of Adams baby was later revealed to be former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Rae Carruth, then 26 years old.

Doctors performed an emergency cesarean section and delivered a son, who was
10 weeks premature. Cherica and Rae's son is named Chancellor, who suffers from cerebal palsey. Cherica went into a coma after delivery, unable to talk to family, doctors or police ever again. Cherica Adams died from her wounds December 14th, 1999.
Rae Carruth fled Charlotte NC after hearing the news of Cherica's death with the assistance of a beautician friend. After a day of fleeing, FBI agents found Carruth hiding in the trunk of a car outside of a Tennessee motel. Incredible? Yes! Sad? Definitely!

THE MALE ROOM EXCLUSIVE : MALE BONDAGE
When we go to bed with someone, we open ourselves up to life changing circumstances. Sexually Transmitted Diseases are open to us when we don't practice safe sex and getting the sexual partner pregnanant is another circumstance we open ourselves up to. While some sexually transmitted diseases can be cured by antibiotics, AIDS has no cure at all. We we lay and play and the variety of women are our pleasure pleasers, or the one familiar woman is our pleasure pleaser. Do we play, many do and for many it is not a problem. We pay for dinners, nights out on the town, hotel rooms, nails being done to get our freak on and sometimes we don't pay at all, it is a straight freak session. All in all one way or the other many of us in the BROTHERHOOD get caught up. We find ourselves paying for a child for eighteen years. It is not an ideal situation.
Many of us have gotten ourselves caught up in making a baby with someone we don't really care about. We have the fact that we've gotten ourselves in this type of situation. It is indeed a life changing situation. So if you are like me and you get yourself caught up, you need to step it up. We must not look at the court system as our enemy brotherhood.
It is so time out for us to be thinking this way. We hold down jobs, we got our freak on, we didn't handle up but now is the time. If you are not in love with the female that is carrying your child, make no mistake about it, there is going to be some drama. I don't know a woman who didn't want to be with her child's father in the onset. We are talking about consenual sex and then caught up moments. So if you are not feeling her, there is going to be an issue. That bondage is going to start happening. Most times she won't take you to court in hopes of being your wife. When you don't go that direction and you start seeing someone else, then the bondage ropes get closer around around neck. Protect your neck BROTHERHOOD. You don't need to be having a verbal agreement with the mother of your child.

Nnude Fashion Feature : Spotlighting Kate Moss
KATE MOSS I REPORTING AGNES J I Nnude Online Fashion Feature 2007

-Katherine Moss known as KATE was born in 1974 from England.
-Moss indirectly helped with the resugence of the WAIF LOOK in 1993 MODEL.
-Because of her THIN FIGURE, she was compared to model Twiggy.
-Only 5"6 this height still didn't stop her from gaining fashion success/300+magazine covers!

WAIF! Meaning- homeless, forsaken or orphaned child, similar to a ragamuffin. In popular culture, the term is described as an unhealthily thin person. The 'waif look' was first described in this term with the model of the 60;s Twiggy. Some others besides Twiggy and Moss who were considered WAIF LOOKING were: Calista Flockhart, Winona Ryder and model Jamie King.

Fashion has once again brought to the forefront: ARE MODELS TOO THIN? Milan, and Spain has banned what they considered unhealthy models. We can say for sure, Kate Moss is not one of them who are banned and the words forsaken and homeless are not words that can reflect Moss. There is such a thing as naturally thin and rail thin. When you start to see ribs, bones, gauntness, this is rail thin. Naturally thin and healthy is a person who doesn't have the attributes named. Kate Moss, Model, Fashion Great is indeed a natural.

THE MALE ROOM PRESENTS I Nostalgic Moments I JAMES BALDWIN
Baldwin could bring the heat and in those times, the heat needed to be brought. He also was a man who spoke about equality and the brotherhood meant the coming together of black men and yes the coming together of other races.
When we speak on brotherhood at THE MALE ROOM, we speak on the same level. Notable Works From Baldwin:
GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN (1953), NOTES OF NATIVE SON (1955) GIOVANNI'S ROOM (1956), IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK Publsihed in 1974, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN (1985). Baldwin passed away in 1987 but his works live on.

QUOTE FROM JAMES BALDWIN: You cannot fix what you will not face.
This has been your Nostalgic Moment at THE MALE ROOM
James Baldwin (An American Writer), spent most of his time abroad, where he and his works were greatly accepted. He was the great quintessential cool brother, who spoke of his own personal struggles, the struggles of black americans and 'saving the brotherhood'. Born in Harlem (1924), "I knew I was black, but I also knew I was smart. I didn't know how I would use my mind, or even if I could, but that was the only thing I had to use."

Baldwin's started out as a preacher in his teen years, then he took a job working for the railroad. Baldwin made his way to Greenwich Village and there he met the great writer Richard Wright. He would work alongside Wright. With a grant in hand (achieved with Wright's help), Baldwin made his way to Paris (1948) and his writing career really took off. Baldwin was a man who cared about his country and his people. Though living in Paris, he returned to the US to take part in the civil rights movement. While traveling throughout the south, he began working on the book FIRE NEXT TIME (1963).
THE SOCIETY PAGE PRESENTS... In Love With Two! Choosing Your Destiny
Society Talk I May/June Edition 2007 I ONPOINTT ONLINE MAGAZINE
--It was suppose to a afternoon of uncomplicated bliss. Just me and my girlfriend *Racquel. Racquel had been married for about five years, no children, content, you could see the love between her and her husband. Racquel invited me to ride with her to see her aunt and cousins living approximately an hour out of the city. I had absolutely nothing to do, schedule clear, so it started as an afternoon of uncomplicated bliss.

About twenty minutes into the drive, Racquel drops the bombshell on me:

*Stacy have you ever been in love with two people at the same time?
I laughed, pretty much because this obviously has never happened to me and it came out of left field. I had no idea how deep this was going to go!
She went on to tell the story about when she first met her husband fifteen years ago (High School Love), there was another. Racquel stated they both gave her things she needed in terms of love, affection, financial, compassion and she was in love with them both. I had never experienced this, so I couldn't say it wasn't true. If we as human beings can love our family members and friends, surely we can love two people in an intimate way. Racquel told me we were going to see her Aunt and cousins and also see THE OTHER, the other man. What turned out to be uncomplicated bliss was becoming something else for me. I was excited about seeing this OTHER MAN but shocked about the revealing circumstances happeing on this beautiful drive to the countryside. Racquel informed me that her Aunt, yes Aunt advised her that the OTHER, was going to be serving time on tax evasion related charges and he wanted to see Racquel.

I asked the famous question: What made you choose to marry your husband over the OTHER. She said it came down to who would have given her a more stable life. She loved them both strongly. She said her current husband had his career together, he was not into the streets, just what she needed. The OTHER made his living by taking risks in different markets, he loved to be out on the scene, most times carrying Racquel but she wanted more stability. Thus she made her choice.
Well we arrived, I met the Aunt and old lady at that, I met the cousins, they grilled out, great drinks, just a good old time! Up comes a nice luxury car and the crowd starts ooing and ahhing, like my girl wasn't even married. Out of the care came a handsome man, equally or more handsome than Racq's husband. They hugged and I saw the love in her eyes for each other. The way he cupped her face, giving her a forehead kiss, the way she rubbed the nape of his neck, I was a lil turned on and a lil disturbed. No one here saw a fault. Racq fixed him a plate, like I seen her fixed her husband's plate, they walked away for some alone time to sit and talk, still in view of everyone else, let me definitely add this in.

We stayed for about three hours I really had fun mingling, making sure I didn't concentrate so much on them. As we made our way to leave for the city, we said our good-byes, they hugged and then he leaned in to kiss her and she kissed back.
I thought they were not going to let each other go! Our ride home was not quiet. We talked on alot of things except that. I was not bringing up what was before me all evening. When we made it into my driveway Racquel said to me that she loved her husband and she didn't regret her decision to marry him. THE OTHER will always have a piece of her heart for as long as she lived. There's honesty for you! *NAMES CHANGED TO PROTECT IDENTITY

Marilyn Monroe Revisited I Noiye Duvall/BL Davis I Summer In Charlotte

--ICON, sex symbol, sex kitten, bombshell, and so many more names can be spoken to describe Marilyn Monroe. The enigma was created with the events surrounding her death. Conspiracy! Scandal! Sex, Drugs, Money, Politics. For many people it is an emotional high they don't want to come down from. LOUD AND CLEAR, Nnude Speaks Volumes will revisit parts of Marilyn Monroes life. Questions will be raised and opinions will be given.

Setting: Fujo's uptown Charlotte, where the Chinese and Sushi is great!
We're dressed down today. BL is in vintage baby t-shirt, denim ankle length skirt with split, two inch flip flops, the curly (Chaka Khan meets Diana Ross) fro is pinned up (it's hot outside in the Queen City, Charlotte NC). Noiye rocks her short hair cut (Nia longesque), vintage t-shirt, denim jeans and three inch sandals. Dressed down but fashionably on point!

We brought our recorded notes, treo's, black berry's in hand and we begin our disucssion for this edition...

LOUD AND CLEAR, Nnude Speaks Volumes.

BL --June 1st marked the 81st birthday of Marilyn Monroe. Alot goes on around this time across the globe.
NOIYE --There are auctions held of her memorobilia, biographies are featured in printed publications, television, film screenings, it's a big thing!
BL --Many people like to reflect on the hype but when I read the bigography I was looking at the things many in media don't want to 'hype up'. Take the beginning of her life. She was a foster child, married young right there is the beginning of wanting that love from someone, a very strong want.
NOIYE --I was thinking the same thing, she did not have an ideal childhood, so to go from that stage to the next would have been like a dream come true for Marilyn. Exposed early to men in the whole husband and wife aspect and to be discovered. It's like hard to wrap your mind around that.
BL --I am sure it was for Marilyn - orphan, wife, model and then you get the gig of a lifetime -stardom. What's a driven woman to do? A clear survivor in my eyes, which many don't give her enough credit for. A survivor for sure.
NOIYE --Media hype pretty much helped with the fascination of Marilyn. The biography doesn't play her in the light of being so consumed with self.
BL -- The biography viewers we are referring to is from her official site, it's like go to the source. She really wanted to be seen as a serious actress, she wanted to be seen for her work. Most women who are blessed with beauty, natural sex appeal others seem to lose control over, really want that shine elsewhere not constant. I don't think she was consumed with self.
NOIYE --I don't think so either. As a passionate woman, which I think she was many mistake that as a loose woman, there is a difference. Passion has to be matched, closely matched and when it happens, you don't want to let that go. I feel when she found the passion from certain men, the tunnel visoin came overpouring in. When you have to be the public figure, you do what you have to do, when it's pirvate time, the excess goes down notches.
BL --exactly, so let's talk about some fashion and beauty here.
There's a lil Marilyn Monroe in all women. (Left-Right) Scarlett Johanssen, Britney Spears, Charlize Theron, Pamela Anderson.
When we come together, when the loving words have escaped the lips of men, to describe women, when women are elevated to icon status within their big cities, small towns, when women are adored with backward glances, corny lines coming from an honest place, if it is not overstated, or disrespectful we love it, we simply love it. Without a doubt many of us have that undeniable sex appeal that is unrehearsed. You can teach someone components of sexiness but the natural sex appeal has more effect. It wins out everytime. Some have it and others don't, definitely Marilyn Monroe had it in life and in death.

Quotes By Marilyn Monroe "If I'd observed all the rules, I'd never had got anywhere."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe "I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe " I have too many fantasies to be a housewife... I guess I am a fantasy."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe " A career is a wondeful thing, but you can't snuggle up to it on a cold night"
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe "Its better to be unhappy alone than unhappy with someone."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe " My work is the only ground I've ever had to stand on. I seem to have a whole
supestructure with no foundation -but I'm working on the foundation."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe "Men who think a woman's past love affairs lessen her love for them are usually stupid and weak.
A woman can bring a new love to each man she loves, providing there are not too many."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe " I restore myself when I'm alone."
Quotes By Marilyn Monroe " I knew I belonged to the public and to the world, not because I was talented or even beautiful,
but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else."

QUOTES ABOUT HER
Marilyn is a kind of ultimate. She is uniquely feminine. Everything she does is different, strange, and exciting, from the way
she talks to the way she uses that magnificent torso. She makes a man proud to be a man. -Clark Gable

NOIYE --I felt toward the end, she was feeling alone, aging, you know just alot surrounding her.
BL --Everything I read, viewed showed there was some issues going on with her. She was showing up late at the studio,
erractic behavior, y'know when this happens its something pesonal, from within. It can overtake the best of us.
NOIYE --Yes but I do believe alot of people like to hang on to the conspiracy theories and sensationalism.
BL --Right! Sensationalism! One thing is for sure, we are left with great memorobilia on many levels.
NOIYE -- Exactly. Pretty good coverage. Do you hear my stomache Bebe? Are you getting hungry?
BL --Yes! (laughing) I think we've covered alot, I'll get this all edited, good job, let's eat! I'm starved!
NOIYE --Ditto!
