Dina Dare Thoughts, I guess I have to play devil's advocate cause of some of what I am reading online with my backup being her interviews. Kelly it seems to me has given into the whole HOLLY WEIRD vibe. She talked about how skin color the issues she had with being the complexion she is, and now the statement on why she made the move to have implants. FIT INTO FASHIONABLE CLOTHING? Okay, I know for a fact your idol as well as mine, THE BOSS, DIANA ROSS was no big breast woman and she rocked alot of great fashion. Fashion Week's in New York, Milan, Paris, I mean do you see any of those models rocking huge breast. I just feel that even with the implants most women are not satisfied because there is something more that drives them to that point. Unless you were born with abnormalties then I just feel there are some self-esteem issues there. Your tattoo Miss Bebe is adornment to your body which is on another level. One thing is for sure, she can take those implants out. Life is good, these are just my thoughts.
Bebe-- We take a look at Cosmetic Surgey and the ways it has really been accepted among Women Of Color. Make no mistake about it, Women of Color are receiving more and more plastic surgery. It has been said and it is a fact that we do age very well ( THOSE THAT TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES AND NOT RUNNING THE STREETS AS WE LIKE TO CALL IT WHEN WE SEE A WOMAN OF COLOR, A BLACK WOMAN LOOKING RAGGED AND WORN ). Yet I see more of us giving into the perception that we need the age-defying products, the botox, the face lifts to... improve our looks to look more youthful. Are we falling for the hype?
Dina Dare -- Yes I do feel we are falling for more hype than fact. As a Black Woman, I see so many SHE-ROES in my lifetime who were in their 50's, 60's and 70's looking ten to fifteeen years younger than their age. I hear younger women say to me, the types of food we eat today, the professions we have today takes a toll on our skin, our bodies until it is a different time. They say Plastic Surgery is a strong option that we as Black Women cannot ignore.
BEBE-- I can say this with certainty. You have to love yourself and accept your original self before any changes by man's hands begin. If you don't like what has been given, when you do alter your body, that feeling most likely remains because you start to see more you can 'change'. That cycle is hard to stop if there are some real deep rooted issues. You have to start within, the mindset needs to be more accepting of who you are in order to make a sound decision with the feelings of regret, sadness or anger. OnPointt.com/Nnude Online Fashion Feature researched some really good articles online that we would like to share with you. What are your thoughts on Plastic Surgery, and Age Defying Products? Comments can be placed using your real name or pseudo names. We don't have records of how to contact you buack, that is not why we place the comment option for you. We love to get feedback, so SPEAK ON IT! Thanks for visiting our Fashion Feature.
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, LAUREN WEISBERGER -- I loved the book and I loved the movie!
Both are collector items for me. As a CEO/Publisher and a person who loves fashion I was like, with the movie, I can admit to having some personality traits like the MERYL STREEPS CHARACTER.
You have to be precise, maintain an edge, never be thought of as a foregone conclusion and put out the best quality work that you can, even if you have to be on edition delay. I hate to read editions of anyting online or offline that looks/reads like it was thrown together. I don't believe in taking your title to the extreme because to have a successful business when you bring others aboard you must keep in mind that a winning team that is satisfed for the most part is a winnning team. In this line of work where you can cover so much, meet so many people, enjoy some well deserved perks, it is a dream come true for me and I don't take it for granted. I am glad to have people surrounding me with great values, a zest for life and a positive mindest. Get the book and the movie! - BL Davis for Nnude 2008
