LUCKIE FOOD LOUNGE is quite an experience for those who really love a 'Cosmopolitan Chic' atmosphere. You can feast on great entrees, have your fill of endless cocktails and decadent desserts. At LUCKIES, you will find three aquariums, a full sushi bar, a wood-fire pizza oven, live stage and 300 plus capacity seating. During my visit to Atlanta ( ATL ), my long-time friends Keshia, Bryon and I decided to check out LUCKIES.

It was the ending of a fabulous weekend. Family, friends, couples, singles, just however you are dining, this is a restaurant that welcomes all. Lover's of NAKED MUSIC COMPILATIONS, the flow is here at Luckie Food Lounge. Fans of NMC will recognize many tunes playing as you are having your DE/Dining Experience.

Not only are the aquariums beautifully designed, the exotic fish that flows through the AQ gives you that serene feeling. The overall Decor of LUCKIE FOOD LOUNGE is pretty much ONPOINTT ( pun intended ).
We feel it is our duty to report to our visitors a great place to go and to watch out for questionable service.

For the most part our reviews are fantastic. ~DE 2006-2007

Tony ( Manager For The Evening ) was cordial enough. Requesting his presence and actually meeting with him took over an hour. We forgive, for we don't know the whole variables on that. Service from our server could have been better. In a restaurant of this calibre, you shouldn't ask for straws, reaching over your entree is a no no to refill your glass, taking your order and kneeling into the seating booth is an absolute no....
ALL OF THIS HAPPENED, not sure what to think of it. This was definitely not suppose to be casual.

Sad thing is it all happened after I introduced myself, after I stated a write up would be done at OP.

Not quite on the ball if you will, but we chalk it up as maybe this was an OFF NIGHT --for some, but not all.

We lounged at LUCKIE LOUNGE for over four hours. We enjoyed our entrees, cocktails, and just catching up with each other was cool. There were no live performances for the evening, so with the music flowing, we decided to make it a night to remember. I reached out to management via email, voiced concerns with the service my friends and I received, gave suggestions for better service in the future ( Because I will return ).

HIGH NOTE: Sushi, Plating, Cocktails were fabulous! Texture, Taste, Phenomenal.

HIGH NOTE: DECOR in the restrooms, HOT! Very cosmopolitan Chic!

HIGH NOTE: Great place for a date, being with friends and family!

Kudos to all Chefs! Kudos to the bartendar and Kudos to the hosts!

WHAT WAS ORDERED AT LUCKIE FOOD LOUNGE

SUSHI: Try the ICHIBAN, the CHARM, the SPIDER, the UNAGI (eel is delicious).
SOUP: Miso Soup, delish!
SALAD: WEDGE Salad, Iceberg lettuce, bleu cheese dressing, bacon, red onion, grape tomatoes.
GELATO: Giada of FOOD NETWORK would be proud! A great dessert, simply decadent/Gelato Tasting
DRINKS: Some of this and some of that, rum inspired, vodka inspired and some martinis.

Visit Luckie Food Lounge with a great attitude! Be open in trying some great sushi.
Not only does the sushi rock but try other menu items as well. Adhere to the dress code.
When in doubt, call ahead. Don't be afraid to ask your server about the menu,
this is where they get to show their expertise.... no question is a silly one at all.
If the service is questionable, make sure you express yourself in a professional way.
Enjoy the evening.... you'll be glad that you did. ~DE Experience 2007

THE DE REPORT.....

Entry Date: September 2, 2006 Labor Day Weekend
Venue: BONEFISH GRILL
Location: Columbia South Carolina (Harbison Area)
Manager For The Evening: Stephen Smith
Server For The Evening: Erin B.
Rating: Service 9 Entrees 9 Drinks 9 Dessert 8 Ambience 10

If you are looking for chic, upscale dining and you love most things from the sea....
Bonefish Grill would be an excellent choice for the seafood lovers of the world.
If you are not a fish lover, still come aboard mate! The Filet Mignon, the pasta dishes,
chicken dishes and much more awaits you. Come on aboard mate! My mother and I dined at Bonefish Grill Saturday September 2nd in Columbia SC. The sun was just going down as we were seated by the host.
This was my first time visting this restaurant . The staff were knowledgable, professional and the
suggestions they gave were simply ON POINT. Here is what we ordered:

Appetizers -Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops....Delish! The scallops were served on a bed of herbs
with a mango salsa sauce, Bobby Flay would simply love this!
Entree For Mom -Long Fin Tilapia, the suggested sauce was Pan Asian Style, bonefish house salad
and the side order was island rice. She loved it! Entree For BL-Mahi Mahi, I selected the Warm Mango Salsa, bonefish house salad and my side order was island rice. Very flavorful and filling. Delish!
Drinks- Mom had tea and water, I had for the first time a ICICLE APHRODISIAC martini garnished
with a watermelon icicle. Stunning in looks and in taste.

Of course you know the bread with olive oil was available but getting back to our courses, they were great.
Soft music plays in the background so you hear your conversation very well. The decor is great. It reminded me of a rustic spanish villa meets Salvador Dali. The low lighting is very sexy and they have it all covered at BFG. Whenever we do a write up at DE, we ask to speak with management.

Stephen Smith (Managing Partner) was very cordial, very knowledgable just what you would expect from a seasoned manager, someone who cares about the customer. Per his suggestion, I tried the pomergrante martini, very, very delicious. For dessert we took home with us a banana inspired dessert that hit the spot
at the end of a great evening. Our compliments to the chef! They did their thing, so well.
Moms and I had no complaints whatsoever. Everything was ON POINT.

PUN INTENDED.

The Mahi Mahi and Tilapia tasted very fresh, cooked just right, flavorful.
The salad was fresh, crunchy, no wilting to be found, thank fisherman heavens.
The plating, the presentation of the food was pleasing. We all know that we see with our eyes,
and from there we move forward to enjoy the food. Enjoy we did!
The atmosphere, was family and friend oriented. Come with a good attitude,
be in proper casual attire, don't be afraid to ask your server about the menu,
this is where they get to show their expertise.... no question is a silly one at all.
Enjoy the evening.... you'll be glad that you did. ~DE Experience 2006
