I felt it was time to write about some phenomenal female character's, unforgettable moments in time, letting the major setting be in Charlotte North Carolina. Charlotte is fast becoming a very chic metropolitan city, so I felt a little chic fiction could only add to the vitality of the city and all that is has to offer many people. Some who have lived in the QC all of their lives and those who made their home here such as I did, knows Charlotte has alot to offer. The emphasis of Cashmere is on friendship, love, respect, errors of judgement, tangle web one weaves, infidelity, loss of love and more.

One of the things that irks me at times is stereotypical writing. When I wrote these episodes I wrote from a refreshing angle. I mean all of us Sister Diva's didn't live in the hood and no disrepsect at all because love and pain, life's course of events comes in all neighborhoods. I just wanted to be a contributor bringing to the forefront some amazing Women and Men of Color Characters and the experiences they go through.

I love getting feedback from my ladies but ladies let me put you on to something. When Cashmere first came online four years ago, I started receiving emails from men, letting me know how they were enjoying the episodes. It is such a compliment, knowing men are reading Cashmere.

I received an email two years ago from a young lady in Atlanta stating that I placed her life on front street after reading an episode of Cashmere
(her words exactly). She hit me where I live! When writing for this publication, other publications, when trying to enhance my life and give to others, It is good to know that someone related to what you have written. That's a good feeling!
